Regional Swim Meet Info
Our region hosts two regional swim meets each year, A Regionals and B Regionals. A swimmer must make an A qualifying time to swim at the A meet. Also, a swimmer may only swim events that they have made an A time in. The top 4 finishers in each event at the A meet will move on to the Games of Texas state swim meet. B Regionals is reserved for those who have not made an A time. This means if a child makes an A time in only one event, they may either swim only that event at A Regionals or may swim at B Regionals in any events but that one.
All kids 15-over will swim at the A meet and automatically qualify for the state swim meet. They must swim at A Regionals to swim at state.
