April Preseason
The Aquaducks offer preseason practices in April to help swimmers prepare for the summer. They practice 2 days a week (M/W or T/Th) for 45 minutes each. The 2010 season will run from April 5-29 and will cost $25.
Summer Season
The Aquaducks practice 5 days a week during the summer. The 2010 summer season will go from June 7 until July 30 for those not making the state swim meet. Those that make the state swim meet will swim until August 4. The A regional meet will be on July 24 and the state meet will be August 5 through 8 in Waco.
Practice times are 8 – 9am, 9 – 10am, 10 – 11am, 4 - 5pm and 5 – 6pm beginning June 7.
Winter Season
The Aquaducks practice 2-3 times a week during the winter from October to January. 2010-11 practices are twice a week for 45 minutes each from October 18 through January 13, excluding November 22-25 and December 20-27. The cost is $60. The 2011 TAAF Winter Games of Texas will be held on January 15 that swimmers can enter for a fee of $10. The practice schedule for 2010 is as follows:
M/W 3:45-4:30 or 4:30-5:15
T/Th 3:45-4:30 or 4:30-5:15
Stroke Clinics
TAAF rules allow 2 days of practice per month in February and March. Swimmers sign up for a day of the week and come on that day for 2 weeks.
